Who We Are
Wilmington, Delaware Black Restaurant Week (WBRW) is an initiative by the Wilmington City Council to elevate African American, African, and Afro-Caribbean culinary voices, engaging audiences through immersive experiences, and anchoring Wilmington as a destination for cultural and culinary tourism across the tri-state region.
Wilmington City Council is grateful for the partnership and support from Mayor John Carney's Office of Economic Development and the Office of Cultural Affairs.
Vision and Mission
Building on its inaugural success, BRW 2025 envisions a powerful blend of taste and transformation—elevating Black culinary voices, engaging audiences through immersive experiences, and anchoring Wilmington as a destination for cultural and culinary tourism across the tri-state region.
Our mission is to create a unique platform for Black-owned restaurants, providing them the opportunity to shine while educating the public about the rich cultural heritage embodied in every dish.

Calling All Food Vendors
Vendor Applications Now Open
Restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and pop-up chefs, apply to be part of Restaurant Week pop-ups, the Black Food Festival, or both.
Applications must be submitted by August 14, 2026.
Late applications can't be guaranteed a placement.
